The difference between STEM and STEAM is all in the “A.” STEM is an education model that stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. STEAM added the “A” for art. STEM focused on hard science- the skills necessary to drive a new concept. STEAM teaches both hard and soft skills to ask questions, think critically, and solve problems.
